LUSH | Christmas Haul

Yes, yes, yes this is a long overdue haul! These are just a few things I picked up when going on my shopping trip to Milton Keynes. Now I didn't go mad but I did budget on that day, I know - shopping trip on a budget? yeah right!...

I love LUSH - who doesn't? (I am sure there are a few of you out there that don't like it haha).
I think it's just seeing the shop window and seeing all the colours and varieties and just everything that is LUSH. You could be 20 feet away from the shop front and still smell the hypnotising mixture of scents.

Regardless as I said up top ^^^ I did go to Milton Keynes on a bit of  a budget. I say that but I still spent over £200 but without said budget and a few naughty treats I probably could have spent £500 (ouch).

On this budget I decided that I would only go for the bath bombs that were holiday edition as I knew the others were regulars and would be there the majority of the year. I did pick up four things that were not part of the holiday edition.

I got three things that were part of the holiday collection and they included;
  • The Christmas Penguin Bubble Bar £2.95 - this little guy is full of the the Christmas zest and smelt absolutely beautiful. I haven't used him yet but his main ingredients include Sicilian Lemon Oil, Bergamot Oil, Orange Flower and Sicilian Mandarin Oil.
  • Bombardino Bath Bomb £2.50 - this bath bomb includes Cocoa Butter, Sicilian Lemon Oil, Cardamom Oil, Fair Trade Vanilla and Bergamot Oil.
  • The Melting Snowman Luxury Bath Melt £2.25 - this bath melt is described as a 'Hot Toddy' for your bath and contains ingredients such as Almond Oil, Shea Butter, Cinnamon Leaf Oil, Patchouli Oil, Sweet Orange Oil, Lime Oil, Grapefruit Seed Extract and Clove Leaf Oil. The reason this is not pictured is because he may have been the first to accidentally on purpose slip into my bath tube - it was gorgeous! Definitely one of my favourite and one I am sad I cannot repurchase until Christmas again.

The other things I bought were;
  • Lord Of Misrule Bath Bomb £3.30 - I couldn't resist going back into Lush after my shopping trip to pick this up and it is huge! Smells delicious and apparently turn the bath a 'wine/plum' colour. This is the worlds first fair trade vanilla absolute and contains more ingredients like Black Pepper Oil, Patchouli Oil, Popping Candy and Gardenia Extract.
  • Sugar Scrub £2.95 - this beauty boosts circulation and buffs dry skin and is extremely good for the bum, thighs and areas with cellulite. This is supposed to rid water water and toxins from the skin. Ingredients include Fresh Fennel, Lavender Oil, Fennel Oil and Fresh Ginger Root.
  • Sea Vegetable Soap £3.10 per 100g - mineral-rich seaweed soap and antiseptic properties from Lavender Oil, sea salt for exfoliating and nutrient rich Arame seaweed leaves. The soap also benefits from Lime and Lemon Oil. I couldn't wait to get my hands on this!
  • Popcorn Lip Scrub £5.25 - great for buffing the lips with Castor Sugar, Sea Salt, Polenta and great moisturising ingredients such as Coconut and Jojoba Oil. This may not be to everyone's taste as it is quite salty but I thought the bubblegum one was waaay too sweet.
  • Charity Pot Body Lotion £1 for 10g - This smells beautiful and for £1 it is so handy to slip into your handbag and carry around. Ingredients include Tagetes Oil, Almond Oil, Organic Cocoa Butter, Ylang Ylang Oil, Geranium Oil and Gardenia Extract.

In the case that this was waaaay too much to read then here is a lovely video with Mr Snowman included (before he fell into the bath).

What are some of your favourite LUSH products? I am eyeing up the Avo bath bomb next.
