Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush

Two years ago you would have never seen me wearing blush, I had so many people telling me I needed to wear them and how amazing they would look etc but it took me a very long time to get into the habit of using them and of course, everyone was absolutely right!

This was definitely one of the hypes I bought into. I ordered my blush when Space NK still had them on pre-order as I could not wait to get my hands on it but long story short something went wrong with third party payment and I had to get it through another store. I chose to order it off Liberty London and it came super quick and has been stashed in my 'to review' pile ever since (I can't be the only one right?)

First off I absolutely LOVE the packaging! It is very reflective and I am sure it will encounter some fingerprints along the way but it is stunning and seeing as I couldn't get my hands on the Ambient Lighting Palette I thought I may as well have this! Justified? Yes...

I decided on Radiant Magenta as the colour stood out to me the most. I was debating between this and Luminous Flush or Mood Exposure but thought Radiant Magenta looked the best out of all the swatches! Who knows, I may still have those on my list - just maybe.

Can we take a minute to fawn over how beautiful this colour is! The reason I love the concept of these are because two should never be the same due to the marbleization and how they are made. Even if they were all 100% completely the same, they are still gorgeous.

Radiant Magenta is described as 'a golden fuchsia blush combined with Radiant Light for a Summer glow'. The blush itself is so silky and smooth in texture that it truly is a dream to apply and blend out to create either a nice sheer flush of colour or a more built up look which is more than welcomed and definitely right in time for Spring and Summer.

I absolutely love the colour and really like how it turns into a pinky peach, golden colour on the skin. The left swatch was a few swipes applied and the right was blended. They can definitely be built up and give your make-up look a really nice healthy, put together glow and can be suited to an evening make-up look (the whole shebang) or with a simple make-up look with just eyeliner, mascara and some lipstick, it really is universal and wonderful and I am so glad I took the plunge!

These can be purchased online from Space NK, Liberty London and obviously other places in the USA etc. Also as far as I have heard the Ambient Lighting Palette is going to be coming back really soon and can already be pre-ordered! *dance*

Did you purchase any of the blushes? What are your favourite Hourglass products?
