March Beauty & Non-Beauty Favourites

This month has been a bit of a discovery month for me and even though some of the bits I've loved this month are older items that I may have forgotten about, there are definitely some new pieces that I have fallen inlove with.

This is my third favourites that I am doing and so far I love being able to pick out some of my favourites of the month and showing them to you. I know on the last few days of the month blogs and youtubes are bombarded with monthly favourites, but I really do thoroughly enjoy them.

Here are a few of mine this month!

The last month or so I have really been stepping up my skincare game. I was really unhappy with how dry and patchy my skin was and decided to go seek some help. I came across the Clinique 3-Step Introduction Kit after having a skincare consultation with one of the ladies at the counter. I have Skin Type 1 for dry to very dry skin and decided on buying the introductory kit to save a bit of money - the kit itself was only £20 and I was told that even if I had bought the biggest sized then if it didn't work Clinique are one of the few that you can actually return the goodies for a full refund. Once I had heard that I thought there wasn't really anything to use and I am so glad I took the plunge. My skin has looked so so much better. Full review coming up on this soon so I won't go into too many details!

Body
There has been one product that has stolen my heart since I received it and it's the Bodhi Rosemary Chi Himalayan Detox Salt Scrub*. This is absolutely wonderful and I cannot rave about it enough. I have a full review of it (here) and it does come highly recommended. I would definitely pick this up!

Hair
Hair wise I have pretty much stuck to the same products but as it has been more 'Springy' of late, I have been going for the beach waves (natural hair) kind of look. My two trusty partners to achieving this look are the Toni & Guy Casual Sea Salt Texturising Spray which is my all time favourite and the Toni & Guy Classic Shine Gloss Serum to add an extra look of shine to the hair (especially lovely when the sun is shining).

Face
I've included my MUA palette this month as I wanted to feature it last month but completely forgot to talk about it. I thought this was going to be a 'so so' product but it really has turned into my everyday palette. If I am in a rush or want a quick natural look, this is the palette I go to. I have the Heaven & Earth palette and for the price you really cannot go wrong.

I have also been head over heels for The Body Shop Honey Bronze Bronzing Powder, this was another product I picked up on a whim but it is absolutely beautiful and gives the most natural looking glow without the orangey look that some product can have. This is an all year round must have

What is a face full of make-up without a great highlighter? I don't use highlighters that often as I find that they are a bit too much during the day unless you are going somewhere special (which hasn't happened for me this month) but when I do feel like a little pick me up and a radiant glow I turn to my theBalm Mary-Lou Manizer Luminizer which is a great champagney honey turned 3-in-1 product! It can be used all over the face, just on the cheeks and even on the lids for some added glow. Also a must have for any make-up bag!

Lips
After trying on tons of MAC lipsticks in one go my lips were in terrible need of some TLC. They felt sunburnt, dry and horrible and a not even my trusty Reve de Miel could sort this problem out. I got recommended The Body Shop Aloe Lip Care which when using as a combined partnership with my Nuxe - sorted my problem out within 48 hours. THANK GOD. I would definitely say this is going to be a holiday essential, especially for the chapped and sunburnt lips that can occur.

This is a product that need to be bragged about up and down, all over town. The Dior Addict Lip Glow in Coral is limited edition and stunningly amazing! A unique custom colour to your own lips and the perfect amount of moisture to leave you feeling ready to rock the day. MUST HAVE! I also have a full review on this beauty (here) and would recommend stocking up if you love it or grabbing it while you can!

Fragrance
My go to fragrance this month has been the Soap & Glory Mist You Madly Body Spray. With notes of bergamot, blackcurrent, magnolia, freesia, vanilla and musk, it smells like Spring/Summer in a bottle. I wouldn't be put off by the fact it says it is a floral fragrance, I was hesitant at first but absolutely love it. It smells beautiful, fresh and full of life and is a great pick me up on the duller days.

Non-Beauty Favourites
My non-beauty favourites this month were very random. Starting off with my new planned organisation routines with my 2014 old style diary and hoping this will get me on track when I feel a bit better. Spring is a time for organisation and spring cleaning to me, making way for the new. I am not sure if you can still get these as I found mine in Wilko's for under £5 and absolutely love it.

Food wise I've started a new addiction to the new Walkers prawn cocktail pop chips. I know it's bad but it's so good at the same time and everyone needs a little treat every now and then.
Talking of treats, who would have thought I would be loving liquorice? I mean I love it in peppermint tea but to eat as a treat was a new concept. These Panda Raspberry Liquorice cuts are really lovely and definitely help with the sweet tooth cravings.

That's all from me on this months favourites! There were definitely a few but I had so much trouble trying to narrow it down to a few. I'll try harder next month hehe!

I hope you are all having a wonderful April!

What were some of your favourites throughout March?
