Bodhi Neroli Lucé Revitalising Face Oil

My skin saviour recently has come in the form of a delicious smelling face oil! My skin and I are head over heels for this beautiful product!

I have been wanting to share this product with you for a very long time but obviously I wanted to make sure that I was writing an honest review when it came to how it worked on my skin and so on.

If you follow me on Instagram then you would have seen a month or two ago that I received a wonderful package from Bodhi which included a few gorgeous products to try. I have already reviewed the Rosemary Chi Himalayan Detox Scrub* (here) and it is something I fell in love with and continue to use on my pamper nights!

Let me start this post with a quick note to say that Bodhi have recently under gone a whole change and have become Bodhi & Birch. The products are the same along with some new exciting products launched on their lovely new website and that is why my products still just say 'Bodhi' on them as I received these before they under went their new change :)

The product I received came beautifully packaged and encased in a really nice see through bag which also included a Bamboo Cotton flannel*. I find the see through bag lovely and I love everything down to the zip tag! I really am a sucker for gorgeous packaging (this is a running theme throughout my blog) and think it really says alot about a company when they go the extra lengths to make their products look aesthetically pleasing.

The Neroli Lucé Revitalising Face Oil* - £32 for 15 ml is targeted towards normal, combination, dull and tired or blemish-prone skin and is enriched with many skin loving and essential ingredients. It is light weight and easily absorbed and has an amazing citrus calming fragrance to it. This makes it extremely enjoyable to use in the morning and in the evening as skin is left feeling smooth and amazingly pampered. This beautiful face oil can even be used under makeup to reduce shine!

All Bodhi & Birch products are preserved in biophotonic containers making sure that the high quality ingredients are preserved and shelf life is increased as opposed to normal containers that skincare items often come in. This adds to what I like about the packaging and I think the blackish containers look very sleek and spa-esque.

Other important ingredients to take note of are Grape Seed Oil which helps encourage the production of elastin and hyaluronic acid as well as being a powerful anti-oxidant and a great source of Oligomeric Proanthocyanidins Complexes which act as free radical scavengers. Grape Seed Oil is 50 times greater than Vitamin E and 20 times greater than Vitamin C meaning this product is full of anti-aging properties.

Evening Primrose Oil - is rich in Gamma-Linolenic Acid and Linolenic Acid which are both Omega 6 fatty acids which helps reduce the inflammation of skin and also supports the collagen and elastin structure. Evening Primrose Oil can help ward of those pesky spots too especially if they are hormone related and is also linked with helping eczema, psoriasis and dry skin.

Apricot Kernel Oil - this oil is naturally rich in vitamins A, B1, B2, B6, B17 plus Linolenic Acid and Oleic Acid . It is also rich in Vitamin E helping skin retain elasticity, clarity and suppleness.

Jojoba Oil - has anti-inflammatory properties and anti-microbial properties as well as being rich in vitamins, minerals and fatty acids which are all essential to keeping your skin soft and radiant. It acts as a regulator and protector and helps unclog pores.

There are more ingredients within the product in which I will leave pictured below so you can see how amazing the ingredients are!

As the Bodhi & Birch state; their products are NOT tested on animal which is another great bonus for the company and their products.

I have been using this every morning and every evening for the last month and my skin is reaping the benefits! I have so much more radiance to my skin that people have finally stopped asking 'hey, are you feeling okay?' or 'are you sick again' and for that I would recommend it alone but it also leaves my skin incredibly smooth, plump and hydrated. It really helps when my skin is playing up and helps ward of the red areas of my face that get sensitive during the day.

The Bamboo Cotton Eco-Luxe Body and Face Flannel £6* is the nicest I have ever owned as of today! I love the fact that it is double sided so you can have use it for exfoliating or the extremely soft side for deep cleaning and washing. When I first read Bamboo Cotton I was expecting it to be a scratchy kind of cloth but it really is the softest flannel I have had, softer than the towels I have too which is brilliant for my sensitive skin. It is also anti-microbial, anti-fungal and anti-bacterial. What more could you want from a washing companion?

I really could not rave about Bodhi & Birch more. I have tried four items from them which were kindly sent and every single one does not disappoint at all.

Upcoming soon: If you suffer from anxiety, headaches, travel sickness and more then keep your eyes peeled for a review on the last product that was kindly sent to me which has helped me tremendously without having to take medication! I am very excited to share that one with you too!

Exciting news: Bodhi & Birch have recently launched a new product! A Lime Blossom Protecting Hand Serum! (How divine does that sound?)

Have you tried anything from Bodhi & Birch? Is there anything that catches your eyes?

*Disclaimer - This product was not sent for the sole purpose of review but as it was given and I did not pay for it out of my own money I will class it as a sponsored/press sample post. This in no way affects my personal and honest opinion of the product and the brand itself. All my thoughts are completely and 100% honest and my own*
