The Body Shop Aloe Lip Care

I am a lip care addict and there is no denying it! My latest obsession comes from The Body Shop...

A few months back I went on an absolute swatching spree at MAC which left my lips feeling rather dry and tight afterwards (I think it was the MAC wipes I used to take each lipstick off). The morning after my swatchathon it felt like my lips had been severely sunburnt and I had tiny spots that looked like a rash around the edges, I think I experienced an allergic reaction but if not, it was the worst my lips have ever felt, they were so painful!

I had heard alot about The Body Shop Aloe Lip Care £5 and read some great reviews from bloggers about how well it works to ease painful lips and help repair them in their time of need. I am so thankful I found this as it really does work!

I love the simple fresh look of the packaging and find that the tube itself is very sturdy, no dents, leaking product or broken pieces and very travel friendly and easy to slip into your pocket or handbag. It comes with 15 ml of product which is great because a little goes a long way! I have been using it everyday for the past few months and I am pretty sure there is tons left. I guess that may be the only downside to the packaging as you cant see how much you are actually using (I'll be sure to get a back up just in case).

I love the slanted applicator on this and appreciate the fact that I don't have to put my fingers in a pot to use the product. I still usually apply some to my finger so that I am not constantly swiping it across my lips on the go.

The formula is non-greasy and instantly soothes my lips without making it feeling sticky or tacky. It is fragrance, colour and alcohol free so very suitable for sensitive lips or if you have very touchy skin that is prone to allergic reactions. There are no added preservatives and the quality of product is so smooth!

I will be packing this beauty in my suitcase when I go on holiday in October and see how it fairs in other countries but I would absolutely recommend it!

Have you tried the Aloe Lip Care? What products do you recommend from The Body Shop?
