Bourjois 123 Perfect CC Cream

When Summer starts to show its pretty rays, the last thing I want to think about it being a drippy mess of foundation and therefore a nice light alternative to my Autumn and Winter foundations are in order.

The Bourjois 123 Perfect CC Cream is said to correct and perfect ones complexion using its 3 colour correction pigments as well as leaving the skin with a fresh, luminous finish. With an added SPF 15 and what is said to be 24hr hydration with a lightweight texture, I knew I had to give this a go and see if it did actually work for me throughout these hotter months.

The 3 pigments that work to even out complexion are;

1) Apricot for anti-fatigue
2) Green for anti-redness
3) White for anti-dark spots

It is available in 4 shades and is also oil free which should be a bonus in Summer.

I got the shade 31 Ivory which is the lightest and like most Bourjois foundations it seems to be a touch too dark for me and I would absolutely love if they bought out a few lighter shades for us paler girls (I am NW10 in MAC for reference). Luckily Bourjois seems very workable and even with a slightly darker shade it is easier to blend in than most and I think because this is a CC cream it is more forgiving than a foundation is.

I do like the fact it is in a tube and find that this is just as good as some pumps, it dispenses the right amount of product and I would say the liquid texture for this is slightly on the runny side which is great for drier skins as it doesn't seem to conglomerate around the dry skin (TMI?) but something I very much appreciate, especially in hotter months. Due to the runnier texture I do find this foundation is lightweight and doesn't feel like you have much on your face - BONUS!

I am sure you can see the shade difference but it really doesn't bother me that much with this CC Cream and I am hoping with some colour it will be perfecto!

I do love the scent of Bourjois face products, just me? I find them very refreshing and cooling to the skin. On my skin this does need to be set with a light touch of powder as it seems to get a bit shiny on me after about 6 hours but with powder, I have no complaints about it. Tackling the 24hr part, I couldn't say. It is moisturising and I don't feel I need a moisturiser when wearing it but I can't say that it last 24hr as I really haven't worn any foundation for that long.

Coverage: Being a CC Cream the coverage is light but I find this does a great job of evening out the complexion and I am sure the 3 pigments that are infused within this product help it. I haven't tried to build this up as I wear it on days when I just want a little something but from what I can tell I am sure you could after the first layer dries. What I do really LOVE is the glowy finish it gives the skin, my skin looks so fresh and healthy when wearing this.

Definitely going on my list as one of my Summer companions and I wouldn't be at all surprised if this beauty followed me on holiday later in the year!

I would recommend trying this if you haven't already and have had your eyes on it!

The Bourjois CC Cream retails for £9.99 and can be bought from numerous places and I just picked mine up at my local Boots but this is also available at Superdrug.

Have you tried this product? What are some of your favourite Bourjois products?
