NEW: Bodhi & Birch Lime Blossom Protecting Hand Serum

I have never been one to take the utmost care of my hands as I have never really felt they needed it, sure I put some hand cream on here and there but I never really invested time and effort into my moisturising and looking after each individual aspect on my hands and of course as I have grown older and gained more knowledge, I look back and think to myself 'WHAT WERE YOU DOING NATASHA!?'.

Luckily the past few years I have been taking more care of my hands and skin as I really do want to preserve my skin for as long as I can. My holy grail hand cream for the last year or so has been the Dr. Organic Moroccan Argan Oil Hand & Nail Balm which I find does a great job for an intense, instant moisturiser during the Autumn and Winter but coming into Spring and Summer left me wanting something thinner, lighter and more refreshing to the hands. Ever since the Bodhi & Birch Lime Blossom Protecting Hand Serum* came into my life a few weeks ago I have been obsessed.

Housed in a beautiful sturdy biophotonic glass bottle so that all of the wonderful ingredients stay fresh and preserved. This is such a great and effective touch to their products.

It also has a pump which is a huge bonus as there is no more dipping hands into jars or messy squeezing out of a tube. I love pumps on hand products and find them a lot easier to use and I feel better for the fact I am not putting a ton of bacteria into high quality natural ingredients.

Speaking of ingredients, they are amazing. If the stunning citrusy Summer scent doesn't blow your mind then the ingredients should definitely do the talking. Containing 8 active botanicals this hand serum is full of benefits for your skin with anti-aging Olive Squalane that helps protect the hands from free-radical damage as well as the rehydrating Rose Hip Oil that consists of 80% essential fatty acids and is high in Vitamins C, A and B which helps diminish the appearance of skin ageing and also replenishes the lipid barrier of the skin in order to help the regeneration of damaged cells. The highly nourishing Plum Kernal Oil which is full of essential acids and vitamins for optimum nourishment and works well with the Safflower Seed Oil in order to moisturise, soothe and smooth the skin. Not only does the hand serum contain essential oils but it also contains essential vitamins like Vitamin E to help prevent premature aging by boosting collagen and improving skins elasticity while also protecting the hands from free-radical damage and  increasing cell regeneration along with Vitamin F which is rich in Linoleic Acid and Alpha-Linoleic Acid to soften the skin and restore skins natural elasticity. The Lime and Green Mandarin not only create a beautiful refreshing and uplifting scent but are both antiseptic, antibacterial and antiviral essential oils.

This product can be used on dry and damp hands but for best results it is advised that you apply ONE pump of the serum onto your hands after washing them. I find that one pump is definitely enough as it allows for a smooth application and also a fast absorbing, non greasy finish. This serum is wonderful to massage into tired hands that need a pick me up and I have definitely noticed a huge difference in the last month of using this.

As I said at the start of this post, I am obsessed and only use my Dr. Organic Hand & Nail Balm when I am on the go as I leave it in my handbag.

I couldn't recommend this hand serum enough and it is unlike anything I have ever tried. The scent has me wanting to smell it 24/7 so much so that is there was a candle scented like this it would be burning, constantly.

The Lime Blossom Hand Serum can be bought directly from the Bodhi & Birch website and retails for £22* for 30 ml.

Have you tried any products from Bodhi & Birch? Have you ever used a hand serum?
