The Holy Grail Concealer

Some people have many different concealers that do many different jobs but I much prefer one that I know will do all the jobs I need it to. There is nothing worse than having multiple items rolling around your handbag/makeup bag when you can just have one and this concealer does it all for me.

The NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer (£22) in Vanilla is one I had heard so much about but could never justify spending £22 as opposed to the £4.19 I used to pay for the Collection Perfection Lasting Concealer which admittedly doing the job just fine but did make some areas of my skin look really dry which isn't the look I was going for as I already have very dry skin.

A few months ago I got matched up to Vanilla (Light 2) and oh what a chore finding this concealer was, everywhere was sold out and everywhere online was sold out of this specific shade. I finally got a notification that it was back in stock on Space NK and I immediately went and purchased  two, yes two (I regret nothing). Vanilla is a great colour match as the lightest Chantilly (Light 1) seemed a little too light for under the eyes but I may consider picking it up to use as a highlighter.

This concealer is FANTASTIC for the days when you really need a little extra whether that be covering select areas, under the eyes, nose, eyelids etc I find the consistency and formula allows it to blend so beautifully and seamlessly into the skin with a brush or with your fingers and I cannot rave about the coverage and lasting power more, it really is brilliant!

On days where I go for the 'no makeup' makeup look, I use this as more of a base on top of some moisturiser and find that it gives more than enough coverage and on good skin days makes my skin look really put together. Can you tell I am smitten with this product?

The only downside of course is the price and if you are on a budget you may find that this isn't as budget friendly as some drugstore concealers but I can say it has been 100% worth it in my case and I will repurchase this concealer for as long as I can.

Holy Grail, yes indeed!

  1. I am almost done with my Clinique concealer, I guess I know what my next purchase going to be. The only issue I have is that Vanilla is way to pale for me and Honey and Custard are a bit too dark. Hopefully I'll be a bit tanned after the summer and one of those would match me.

    1. It is quite expensive but sadly worth it. You know when you buy something or try something expensive and you want to hate it? Well I just can't lol. I just recently purchased the NARS Sheer Glow and hoping to do a first impressions on it x
