Clarins Ladylike Autumn Collection 2014

Autumn is just around the corner and what better thing to celebrate it with than a new gorgeous collection launch. Introducing the Clarins Ladylike Autumn Collection...

Clarins Ladylike Autumn Collection is truly stunning with it's beautiful elegant packaging and luxurious neutral colour scheme with shades to suit everyone. The launch contains seven new products and today I'll be going through the four that I have to share with you.

An ultra soft eye base used to help brighten, smooth and prolong eyeshadow wear. I find this primer is thicker in consistency than the two other eye primers I have used but not in the overbearing way. I do find this helps my eyeshadow stay longer and think that the mattifying powders in the formula do a great job of grabbing your eyeshadow and hugging it all day! Sadly if you are fair like me this could be too dark in colour for you as on my skin it pulls up too orange to wear all over my lid. If this suits your colouring I would definitely recommend looking into it as it really is great! I just wish there was a more transparent version of this so us fairer skinned ladies could enjoy the benefits.

These are something that excited me as soon as I saw them. I absolutely love cream eyeshadows and really like the concept of these turning to a powder finish so they last longer. They are extremely quick and easy to apply which leaves a flawless finish within minutes. They are really lightweight, non greasy and smooth with the colour staying put for hours which could be down to the Bamboo powder within the formula. I love the matte finish and adore the colour range - there are six shades to choose from: 01 Nude Beige, 02 Nude Rose, 03 Taupe, 04 Rosewood, 05 Sparkle Grey and 06 Earth.

Swatched from left to right: 01 Nude Beige, 03 Taupe and 05 Sparkle Grey. I am also eyeing up 04 Rosewood and 06 Earth as they are beautifully pigmented darker shades.

Rouge Eclat Lipstick (£19.50)*

The first age-defying lipstick offering from Clarins that still provides long lasting pigmented colour. The formula includes their Nutri Youth Complex and benefits from Vitamin E, Mimosa, Jojoba and Sunflower extracts in order to keep lips hydrated and youthful. There are five new additions to the range including N°16 Candy Rose, N°17 Pink Magnolia, N°18 Strawberry Sorbet, N°19 Chestnut Brown and N°20 Red Fuchsia.

Swatched: N°17 Pink Magnolia which is a great everyday pink with a very subtle shimmer. The ultra creamy formula provides a fuller looking lip whilst keeping the lips hydrated as well as having beautiful colour pay off. The shimmer isn't noticeable on the lips and just adds a really beautiful dimension.

The newly re-launched foundation claims to have a lot of benefits for the skin with obviously only a few I am able to see instantly. Firstly lets talk about the packaging, it is gorgeous! I am so happy to have the pump included as it is definitely a huge selling point. Secondly the formula is beautifully lightweight and glides on effortlessly and provides a light to medium coverage at a push although saying that I feel it does a really great job covering imperfections. I was sent the shade 102.5 Porcelain which is the lightest they seem to offer in this foundation and unfortunately it is probably two shades too dark for me and comes off orange on my pale complexion (for reference I am NW10 in MAC) which is such a shame as this truly is a gorgeous foundation and has an incredible natural dewy glow. This foundation also smells incredible and has a really fresh and awakening scent, perfect for the morning!

Amongst what I have shared with you, Clarins have also released 3-Dot Liner (£20), Perfect Eyes and Brows Palette (£35) and an absolutely STUNNING Eye Quartet Mineral Palette in Skin Tones (£32) which has four natural shades that are perfect for Autumn.

Clarins Ladlike Autumn Collection launched on the 24th August so should be available at your local counters now!

What would you buy out of the collection?
