Milani Bella Eyes Gel Powder Eyeshadow

A lot of Milani action going on around the blogosphere lately and sadly us in the UK don't have much ease of getting in on the action. Luckily due to my wonderful international swap I have two of the latest Bella Eyes eyeshadow collection that Milani launched.

The lovely Freddi who I did my swap with (here) kindly put two of these eyeshadows in my box as extras and as soon as I saw them I knew that these were the kind of shades I would have picked up if it had been myself shopping for them (thank you Freddi)!

Milani launched thirty new gel-powder eyeshadows which have some beautiful nude colours as well as brighter shades for the more daring. The line includes three different finishes which are Satin Matte, Shimmer and Iridescent Metallic and every single colour can be used wet and dry.

The new Milani Bella Eyes Gel Powder Eyeshadows ($3.99) start as a gel and then they are transformed into a powder eyeshadow that offers multi-dimensional pure colour application in a single stroke.

The two shades Freddi picked out for me are Bella Champagne and Bella Cappuccino. Bella Champagne is described as a 'shimmering champagne pink' and Bella Cappuccino is described as a 'light red-brown satin matte'.

They are both beautiful shades and apply beautifully. These swatches are without a primer so I am still fairly impressed by how much colour showed up on my skin especially the lighter shade which I didn't think would. I still use these with my Urban Decay Primer Potion and they look gorgeous and stay for as long as I have my makeup on.

I would definitely recommend checking these beauties out if you have access to them because I think they are a really nice drugstore eyeshadow as well as a great price.

Have you tried any Milani products? What do you think of the Bella Eyes Eyeshadows?

    1. Champagne is my favourite! It is great all over and quick colour, I just apply it with my fingers all over my lid, add some mascara and I'm done lol! xx
