New Launches: The Body Shop Hand Cream Collection

I haven't posted about a press release or a product wishlist for a very long time but when I received news from The Body Shop about the new hand creams they will be releasing soon, I really couldn't wait to tell you as it is definitely something I will be investing in!

I am (as most of you know) a huge fan of The Body Shop and one of the things I really do love is their hand creams. I literally just picked up a new Almond hand cream (review coming up soon) as it is definitely my favourite of the ones they have on offer at the moment.

The Body Shop currently do four different hand creams starting with their Hemp Hand Protector, Almond Hand and Nail Cream, Wild Rose Hand Cream (spf 15) and lastly their Absinthe Purifying Hand Cream, all of which come in the 30ml versions for £5 or the 100ml version for £11. I usually buy the bigger ones as I find I get more for my money but the 30ml sizes are definitely more handbag friendly. I have always wanted more choice from their hand creams and now I will have (we all will).

The Body Shop are releasing a collection of EIGHT new hand creams all of which are non-greasy due to the light gel-cream formula, deliciously scented and will be enriched with its own moisture-rich natural squeezed ingredients!

The new hand creams of this collection are Pink Grapefruit, Coconut(*), Strawberry(*), Satsuma, Shea(*), Moringa, Mango and Honeymania(*). I have places a (*) next to the scents that I am most excited about as they are amongst my favourites of The Body Shop ranges at the moment.

These new hand creams will only be £3.50 and will come in the handbag friendly size of 30ml - BONUS!

I am so excited by this announcement and I cannot wait to get my hands on them so I can stock up for Autumn and Winter!

The new collection will be available from the 13th August 2014.

Which scent/s are you most excited for? Will you be picking some up?

*Disclaimer: This is in no way being sponsored by The Body Shop nor am I being gifted anything to mention this press launch, I simply wanted to share something with you all that I was excited about*

  2. Oh I REALLY want the Shea Butter one and maybe Honeymania, but I wish they would have added an Almond one. Almond is my favorite scent they sell. We are addicted to The Body Shop in my house!

  5. Finally! So excited about this!
But why the terrible metal tube again? :( Looks crinkled at first touch and after a while product seeps through tiny holes in the metal that happen because of squeezing/bending. I'll probably still get one or two because the scents are awesome, but I really with they changed the packaging into something more durable or flexible.

    1. I am exited too! I do agree with the packaging! My last tube split in my handbag and went everywhere. I think if they wanted to keep that style of packaging they should go for the plastic tubes that are encased in metal so they don't start bending and breaking :D I will definitely still be picking some up! What scents have you got your eyes on?

    2. Same here—my purse got moisturized a bit haha
Definitely Strawberry and possibly Mango. Possibly Honeymania as well (depending on how it comes out—some of they have in that range are a bit too strong for me). What's the first one you're getting?

    3. Haha at least you have a soft purse? Hopefully it didn't ruin your bag? The first one I'm going for is the Shea one then hopefully the coconut and honeymania, as you said some of the scents can be too strong for me so I shall smell them first :) xx

  6. I would love to try these, but I'm a bit nervous because the ones I've tried really irritate my hands & cause my dermatitis (I suffer from it due to excessive hand washing at work, wahh!) to flare up. But these scents, maybe coconut or shea, might be a little gentler & for £3.50 its not going to break the bank if I try them! I've really started to get into the Body Shop recently - the latest bits I've tried from them have blown me away!

    1. Awh no :( My hands get like that when I use washing up liquid. I am sure the sales representative will be able to help with that and recommend the best one to use that may not be so harsh on your skin :) I find that my Almond one helps my skin and luckily doesn't irritate it :) I love The Body Shop and all of the products I have tried haven't disappointed :)
