Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in Dollface

Tarte is a brand that I obsess over all the time! I constantly torture myself by picking out goodies that I know we don't have easy access to. Tarte's blushes are no exception, these were one of the first items I heard about when I joined blogging and I am so glad I finally have some in my collection. Today we will be looking at the shade Dollface...

I don't know what it is about Tarte that keeps drawing me in but I think it is an absolutely stunning brand and I love the fact they are cruelty free. Every product I see from them, I want and I find that quite rare to find in companies.

The Tarte Amazonian Clay Blushes ($26 - £15.64) are solar baked blushes that are said to last 12 hours. As mentioned before the brand is cruelty free and the blushes are formulated without Parabens, Sulfates, Synthetic Fragrances, Petrochemicals, Phthalates, GMOs and Triclosan. The clay used in the blushes is harvested from the Amazon River. This is said to be a multi skin type product meaning no matter what skin type you have, the blush has something to benefit it.

The shade Dollface is described as a 'light pink' which I think is 100% true. It is a really beautiful and delicate baby pink.

When I was deciding on the colours I wanted to add to my collection from my international swap (you can see that here) I really wanted a light pink. I have always gone for more red/flushed colours to give me more of a natural colour but I have wanted a light pink blush for ages. I was so happy when I opened this and saw the colour of it because it is just beautiful!

The formula itself is not chalky or powdery at all which is always my concern with blushes. This glides over the skin beautifully and is really nice to build up too due to the easy blending capabilities. Dollface even though it is a light shade still gives a beautiful colour pay off and leaves me with a natural, healthy glow which I love.

In terms of the staying powder of the blush I have no concerns, I wore it longer than 12 hours the other day due to being out all day and although it wasn't as bright as when I had first applied it but I still had a good amount of colour on my cheeks even though most of my foundation had worn off (I was wearing a face primer and used my Urban Decay All Nighter Spray).

Luckily Sephora now ships to the UK so they are at least a little bit more accessible if you have the money to spend on shipping.

I can't believe I have only just tried these blushes but I admit I am completely smitten with them (insert heart eye emoji here). I would highly recommend adding some to your collection if you are a blush lover or even if you aren't because the shades are absolutely gorgeous!

Have you tried these blushes? Any Tarte product recommendations?
