Maybelline Color Tattoo Sleek & Spice

The Maybelline Color Tattoo's have to be amongst my favourite cream eyeshadows that I have tried and the fact that it is a drugstore product is an absolute bargain.

I received this gorgeous colour in my International swap (here) and as it was part of the limited edition Dare To Go Nude collection I really am glad I got my mitts on it.

The Maybelline Color Tattoo in Sleek & Spice (£4.99) is my third colour from the Color Tattoo range. I have On and On Bronze which seems to be a staple in everyones collection as well as Metallic Pomegranate which I wore during Autumn last year and loved.

The formula of the color tattoo's are incredible and feel so lightweight on the eyes. Sometimes I find cream eyeshadows are a lot more noticeable than powder and don't set properly but this formula does. Once set there is no tacky layer left and you won't feel as if your eye lids are sticking to your socket which again is a bonus in my books. They are extremely long wearing and claim to be a 24 hour wear which I have yet to test out but they do stay on until you want them gone. These are perfect for a quick swipe and go if you don't have time for eyeshadow or if you'd just prefer a fuss free alternative.

Not only are they extremely long wearing, pigmented, creamy and really easy to apply but they can also be used as an eyeshadow base as well as an eyeliner and eyeshadow. With a 3-in-1 product you really cannot go wrong and the limited edition shades along with the permanent ones are always gorgeous!

Sleek & Spice is a gorgeous bronzed taupe and gives a really beautiful multi-dimensional finish to any makeup look. The shade itself is a really great everyday colour that can be built up darker for a more saturated look. I love the silvery sheen to it and would imagine this shade looks great on all skin tones as all the aspects of the shade are really flattering to any eye.

Maybelline really hit it out of the ball park with their color tattoo's and for the price I can't recommend them enough. If you haven't tried them yet then you are really missing out!

Have you tried the Maybelline Color Tattoo's? What is your favourite shade?
