The Body Shop Lip Line Fixer

When it comes to lip liners I don't own many, two if that and as much as I'd love to have a whole collection I just don't use them that often but in recent days and wearing darker colours I have really been enjoying this pick from The Body Shop.

The Body Shop Lip Line Fixer (£8) is a product I picked up on a total whim to fill a space in my basket to push it over the limit but since using this beauty I haven't looked back and now making me want to try a whole bunch of others.

The liner itself is completely clear... Yes, you heard me! Used to create an invisible barrier around the lip to help prevent lipstick from bleeding, feathering or seeping into any lines around the mouth area. The best thing about this is the fact it is clear - there is no need to mess around with a coloured line around the mouth, no need to colour match your lipsticks to your lip liners and no need to worry or clean up if you don't get it spot on. The formula itself is very creamy and moisturising to the lips but stays put all day which is a must have for me as I don't like having to reapply products throughout the day (except my lip balm).

I have thoroughly enjoyed using this and it makes wearing darker lips a whole lot easier whether they be matte formulas or really creamy formulas, this does it all. When my lips are looking worse for wear or very dry I apply this all over the mouth as an almost lip primer as it does a create job at filling any cracks or lines making any lipstick application effortless.

I'd highly recommend this lip liner to any lipstick lover even if you are the most skilled or just a beginner! This is a genius idea and everyone should have one in their collection.

Have you tried this lip liner? What are your favourites?

  1. I've always been intrigued by clear lipliners and how they work, but never tried one (or many other lip liners for that matter)! They do seem so convenient and practical though.

    1. It is such a faff to find matching liners and if you don't have a steady hand then they looks silly aswell I love the fact you can put this over your natural lip line to make sure your lipstick really doesn't feather :) x
