Sleek Blush By 3 Palette in Pink Lemonade

Even though we are fast approaching Winter, I don't think one could have too many pink blushers especially when they are an absolute bargain!

When purchasing the Arabian Night Smokes & Shadows Eyeshadow Palette for my GIVEAWAY (you can still enter HERE) the lovely team at Vanity Palace sent me two more goodies from Sleek to test out and review, the Blush By 3 palette being one of them. I have never tried the Blush By 3 palettes but I absolutely adore the singular Sleek blushes and find they rival many high end brands in terms of longevity and pigmentation.

I opted for the Blush By 3 in Pink Lemonade (£10)* as it was a product I had been considering buying myself and a palette I knew I would get a lot of use out of. Firstly Sleek have eight colour combinations to choose from, seven of which can be purchased directly through Vanity Palace a long with a few limited edition Sleek items that they stock that are sold out elsewhere. The shades within the palettes can be used alone or together to create your own colour combination and intensify the blush colour as well as coming in different finishes, from shimmer, matte and cream which is something I am ALL over!

Pink Lemonade itself contains three beautiful pink shades including Icing Sugar, Macaroon and Pink Mint. Icing Sugar and Pink Mint are shimmer finishes and Macaroon is a buttery cream finish.

Icing Sugar is the least opaque of the bunch but looks beautiful when applied to the cheeks. It is a light, cool toned dolly pink and for paler skintones you will notice the hint of pink this leaves behind, for darker skintones this could be used as a highlighter! Just because it is the least opaque doesn't mean it isn't worth it because this shade is a great way to fake a healthy glow (if you don't already have one that is).

Macaroon being the cream blush of the palette blends like a dream and offers a really unique pink flush to the cheeks. It is a cool toned, almost bubblegum pink and isn't so pigmented that you could go overboard with it but is definitely buildable and lasts a really good amount of time for a cream blush.

Pink Mint is the dark horse of the entire palette as it doesn't look like much in the pan but once applied just perks up the whole face. A beautiful peachy pink shade reminiscent of a very muted NARS Orgasm but with less shimmer or theBalm's FratBoy minus the shimmer. This may just be my favourite blush of the whole palette!

All three of the shades blend beautifully into the skin and give a really stunning glow to the cheeks. None of the colours are 'in your face' and of course if you wanted more intensity you can build the colour up or use Macaroon as a base and pop your chosen colour on top of it. The palette is sleek (clever), sturdy and exceptionally travel friendly as the casing around the product is hard and offers a really great sized mirror within (a must have with any palette).

I can only imagine the other Blush By 3's are amazing too and I am very glad I was finally able to test this out.

What do you think? Do you own any of the Blush By 3 palettes?
