The Body Shop Tea Tree Flawless BB Cream

Looking for a new BB cream that actually does what it claims? Look no further...

The Body Shop Tea Tree Flawless BB Cream (£8) is not something I would typically pick up as I do not love the smell of tea tree oil. Is it bearable? Yes. Do I want it all over my face? No, but for this BB cream I will certainly be making an exception.

Another whim product I decided to pick up from my local store and something I have thoroughly enjoyed using. The Body Shop describe this BB cream as a lightweight, shine free formula that provides flawless coverage whilst tackling the appearance of blemishes using community fair trade Tea Tree Oil from Kenya. It comes in three shade; Light, Medium and Dark which at first put me off as I was 100% sure the lightest shade would be too dark or too orange on me but thankfully it wasn't! Infact, it is a very similar shade to my NARS tinted moisturizer in Terre-Neuve and works perfectly with my pale skin.

This beauty came on holiday with me along with my NARS tinted moisturizer as I thought they would be perfect for a quick fix without the hassle. I didn't want to spend an hour or so every morning faffing with my makeup and found this really easy to slap on (not literally). I buff it onto my skin using my Real Techniques Buffing Brush and have found the BB Cream is oddly refreshing to the skin on application which was very much loved when in a hotter climate.

It has more coverage than I was expecting and really does help reduce the appearance of blemishes and imperfections on the face. I wouldn't say it is the fullest coverage you could get but from a BB cream it is pretty amazing! Just add a little concealer under the eyes and you are ready to go!

I would definitely recommend this if you want something lightweight, easy to use, non-greasy and if you are a BB cream lover (even if you aren't).

Have you tried The Body Shop Tea Tree BB Cream? What do you think?

  1. This sounds like a pretty great BB cream! Glad to hear that the shade matches up, I know BB cream shades can be a bit off for paler skins! The Tea Tree line from TBS in general sounds amazing!
