Black Friday Haul

What is Black Friday without a few cheeky purchases?

I didn't go crazy with the Black Friday trend this year but rather just picked up a few things I had been wanting whilst they were on offer. I spent most of Black Friday shopping for Christmas presents for others but of course, I can never shop near makeup counters and not pick something up.

I went into Paperchase for the first time EVER and it is the cutest shop for picking up little knick knacks. I had a good wander around but couldn't resist the Snowy Friends wrapping paper (£5) and the matching tissue paper (£1.75) - I mean come on the polar bears and penguins have scarves, hats and jumpers on!

Make-up wise I picked up NARS Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Never Say Never (£18), NARS Douceur Blush (being discontinued) (£22.50), MAC Beet Lip Pencil (£12.50), MAC Amplified Creme Lipstick in Girl About Town (£15), a sample of the MAC Setting Powder to try and a repurchase of the Aesop Parsley Seed Cleansing Masque (£27) as I cannot live without it!

That is all I picked up for myself on Black Friday as the mall in Milton Keynes was a little bit overwhelming and crowded so I did what I needed to do, went and saw a movie with the other half, had some dinner there and off we went! It was a really lovely day and I am extremely happy with my purchases.

Do you own any of these products? What deals did you grab on Black Friday?

  3. We don't have Black Friday over here - no thanksgiving! We do have Boxing Day sales though which get pretty hectic. Great purchases though! Paperchase seems like such a cool store, that wrapping paper is adorbs!

    1. Apparently this was the first year that the UK really took part in "Black Friday" nothing over here was as hectic as America's are but next Black Friday I think I will just stay at home as it was uncalled for madness really. Thank you so much! Paperchase is my new obsession - their wrapping papers are so gorgeous! x

    1. Thank you so much Marianna! We don't usually celebrate it and it is nowhere near as big as in the US but they apparently started doing it this year :P I am not complaining x
