LUSH Ultrabland Facial Cleanser

Ah cleansers... I feel cleansers are kind of a personal thing to add to someone's skincare routine as we all know what we like in terms of texture, feel, ingredients and how the skin feels after we have cleansed it but for quite a long time, one cleanser I love is the Ultrabland Facial Cleanser from LUSH.

Personally I like the richer, balmier cleansers as I have dry skin and feel my skin benefits the most from these hydration wise. Don't get me wrong, I love thin cleansers too and oil cleansesr and cream cleansers - to narrow it down completely, I just love cleansers.

The LUSH Ultrabland Facial Cleanser (£7.45/45g) was one I came across after having a bad reaction to a new skincare routine I was trying and when asking one of the advisor at LUSH which one they would recommend that would be gentle and calming yet still effective and beneficial for my skin I was steered to pick up Ultrabland.

Ultrabland is based on a Greek formula and contains skin loving ingredients such as Almond Oil, Rose Water, Beeswax, Fresh Iris Extract and Honey. The cleanser is very rich and balmy in texture but I still find it very easy to apply and remove from the face and don't feel like it leaves behind a greasy layer or film like some other rich cleansers do. It works really well at removing all makeup from the skin and is especially useful when removing mascara whether it is waterproof or not which is something I sometimes struggle with but find this isn't irritating to my eyes either which is a bonus as I have sensitive eyes and wear contact lenses.

It has helped calm my skin down tremendously and after using this for just a week morning and night I found my skin looking better. I am now on my second pot and still going strong with it! Not to mention how soft my skin feels after using this and how relieving this is during the colder months when my dry patches flair up. I even use this on the tops of my arms where I get dry areas because it really does do the world of good.

Even if you don't have dry skin, I wouldn't be put off by the richness of this cleanser as you may find it help with your skin concerns and luckily the advisors at LUSH are always really helpful.

Have you used the Ultrabland Facial Cleanser? What is your favourite LUSH product?

    1. Thank you so much - that means the world to me! I never know if peoples laptops and devices pick up the same colours as mine do so I am always scared they look off lol!
I wish it was good enough to eat but funnily enough it doesn't really have a fragrance as such!
You may find it cheaper buying off LUSH's website and getting it delivered to you :D My friend does that as it is cheaper than buying them from her country :) Thank you for reading lovely xxx

  3. I love Ultrabland! Totally agree, my skin feels sooo soft after using it. I just really love how hydrating it is, and when I use it with a face cloth I feel like it's really getting deep down.
