Benefit Roller Lash

For all and any mascara lovers, this ones for you! One of the most highly talked about launches of this year but is it worth the hype?

With the launch of an abundance of new products lately comes an exciting mascara launch from Benefit... Enter the new Roller Lash Super-Curling and Lifting Mascara*!

When the sample of Roller Lash* came through my door I was so excited to see what it could do for my stubborn lashes. I love trying new mascaras and have only found three that have really stood out to me and with all the talk surrounding this new launch I could not wait to start testing this out so I could report my thoughts back to you.

Roller Lash is said to grab, separate, lift and curl whilst holding all of that action in for 12 hours (what?!) and the most impressive bit? All of that without the use of lash curlers! You heard me, this is a lash curler free zone people.

The formula is water resistant, curve setting and contains Provitamins B5 and Serin which are known for their lash conditioning benefits. It has a satin finish and therefore leaves the lashes feeling very natural and soft even when you have got a few coats on which I absolutely love as I can't stand heavy feeling or crispy lashes, I'm sure i'm not the only one.

The patent-pending Hook 'n' Roll comb like brush is very unique and REALLY does hook every little lash, even the ones that hide or the ones you may not have even known you had, It certainly did with mine and made the world of difference to all the short stubby ones that usually get left behind. I love this mascara so much that I even use it on my bottom lashes which is unknown territory for me but love the natural fluttery curl it gives.

I have always felt my eyes look a little bit weird with just mascara on and no eyeliner in place creating the illusion of a fuller lash line and since using this beauty I haven't felt the need to faff around with eyeliner as it delivers everything I could want out of a mascara. Much like my beloved bareMinerals Lash Domination, the Roller Lash gives me the length, definition and volume I want and the way it holds a curl is an absolute bonus. Benefit really have hit it out of the park with this one.

As you can see, the mascara completely lifts my lashes whilst opening up my eye area and considering how fussy I am with my mascaras, I really couldn't rave about this enough. My favourite way to apply it is by using the curved side of the brush first to catch and pull every lash up and then once I have achieved the desired amount of definition I whip it over and use the larger side in order to give more volume and flutter.

All in all the Roller Lash gets all the thumbs up from me and it will be available March 2015 for £19.50 or if you are extra sneaky you can grab it on Benefit Cosmetics NOW!

You can also grab your free sample of Roller Lash in this months Elle Magazine so you can try it first!

Have you tried Roller Lash? What were your thoughts?

  2. I wasn't a big fan of "they're real" because I felt like it made my lashes feel crunchy, looked spidery, and was super hard to get off...how does this compare?

    1. It was so hard to get off! This is a tad easier but just like with all mascara nowadays they are getting harder to get off as they want the lasting power. This is lighter and feels more natural on my lashes BUT if you feel you may have some trouble then pick up the Elle magazine and try it out first :D :)

  3. I'm getting a sample of it from a Sephora order, but I don't really have high hopes for it. Most high end mascaras are not waterproof and tend to make my lashes just flop down because they're not as dry as waterproof mascaras, which always hold up my curl. Raeview said this mascara did hold up her curl and so I'm kind of excited to just try it though.

  4. Wow! The hype has been huge around this mascara, but it certainly works well for you! I have such crappy lashes - super short and straight, so I definitely would like to give this mascara a go!
