The Vegan Kind Box: August (#TVK 22)

Another month welcomes another yummy vegan snack box to look forward to.

I always see the spoilers for the The Vegan Kind boxes* a few days before mine comes which gets me extra excited especially when I see products I know I will devour. August's box was no different and as soon as I saw the selection of products I was counting down the time until mine arrived.

Sticky Mix Free From Belgian Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix (380g - £3.50)
VEGAN COOKIES! Do I need to repeat? I don't think so. Made with the finest ingredients, organic flour and a special sugar blend leaving these cookies chewy and crunchy. Cookies? Check. Chocolate? Check. Happy Tasha? CHECK! I cannot wait to try these out so keep an eye out on my Instagram and Snapchat (@tashameline) to see how they turn out.

Teatonics Ruby Red Restorative Tea (28g - £5.50)
When I saw the name Ruby Red I was really hoping for some added Rooibos in there and to my excitement it contains both green and red Rooibos (my favourite tea) as well as hibiscus, vanilla, liquorice and cacao. If this doesn't sound like a tea of heaven, I am not sure what would. Teatonics uses an organic and botanical blend to help the mind and body whilst incorporating micro-nutrients and antioxidants.

iQ Orange with Wild Raspberry Chocolate Superfood Bar (35g - £2.49)
More 'chocolate', one very happy Tasha with this box. iQ use organic, ethically sourced Criollo beans from Rio Negro Valley to create these healthy superfood chocolate bars. Guilt free and flavoured with a gorgeous hit of orange and wild raspberry whilst only being sweetened with coconut blossom these iQ bars make the perfect treat.

Hoots Salt and Pepper Multigrain Snack (35g - 60p)
I love anything snacky that can replace the traditional potato chips and these certainly do the trick. The right amount of crunch and flavour to leave me feeling satisfied. These also contain a mix of wholegrains and seeds!

Dr Organic Virgin Olive Oil Deodorant (50ml - £ 5.49)
I am already such a fan of Dr Organic and love their hand and nail creams, skincare and balms. I already own one of their roll on deodorants and absolutely love the fresh scent whilst knowing they are clogging up my glands with aluminium. I was quite dubious as to how an olive oil deodorant would smell but was pleasantly surprised to find that it had a fresh citrusy scent to it. These leave your underarms feeling really soft and moisturised and for a day to day deodorant I 'd say they work great and continue to smell fresh all day without being too harsh on your skin. I would definitely recommend trying it as they have plenty of different scents available.

Beond Organic Sour Cherry and Blueberry Raw Bite (15g - 50p)
Raw bites contain 100% certified organic ingredients such as dates, nuts and raisins. The Sour Cherry bite is full of antioxidant and vitamin c loaded cherries leaving this raw bite really juicy and full of flavour. The Blueberry Raw bite is low in fat and also contains antioxidants and vitamin c. These little bites are perfect for carrying around for a quick pep up.

The Vegan Kind box costs £10* a month plus postage and packaging. It is completely worth it as they always go above and beyond when it comes to product selection and never skimp out on the quality. I cannot recommend TVK enough and think even if you aren't vegan you should definitely give them a try.

Included in this months box was a recipe from the lovely Sharon over at www.bitofthegoodstuff.com showing us how to recreate a beautiful Malaysian Coconut noodle soup!

The featured campaign this month goes to the Vegan Billboard who put up vegan billboards in busy city centres to better educate and spread awareness. You can also donate over at www.veganbillboard.com and don't forget that 10p from every box sold goes to that months featured campaign so not only are you getting yummy snacks and treats you are also helping smaller businesses.

What do you think? Have you tried The Vegan Kind?
